
Document Formatting Tips
Explains how to go about planning documents effectively.
- Plan your document first getting the structure right BEFORE creating Topics.
- Use Word styles. This makes everything neat and it is easy to change the look of the whole document by changing the style definition.
- Create extra styles if you need.
- Use 'Automatically update document' with styles to force consistency across a number of documents.
- With just a few styles you can achieve a neat formatting. Heading 1 thru 6, Normal, Normal Indent, Bullet, Num List. There are quick keys for all these in EasyHTML/Help.
There is obviously more to say on all this but we run a two day training course on all this so we cannot give too much away :-)
