After running EasyHTML/Help the first time, opening Word again to start a new standard document brings up the annotated margin on the left. Normal.dot has not been changed we just increased the 'Style Area width' to a sensible value.
You can drag the windows or use Tools | Options | View | Style Area Width to change it. Basic use of Word!
This is THE MOST IMPORTANT OPTION in WORD for *professional* authors and yet Microsoft in their wisdom hide it... we have decided to reverse the trend
