Everytime I start Example 1 (or others) I get the message "request anti-virus check" and then everything hangs! I am using Word 2000 and Norton Anti Virus.
You can expect a delay when you first use EasyHTML/Help because the .DOT file needs to be saved, but the anti virus request is executed by a plug-in from Norton 2000.
Below is the procedure to unactivate the plug-in:
1) Start menu, Execute ;
2) In the Execute window, in the OPEN area, type the following instruction:
regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\norton antivirus\officeav.dll"
(Be carefull to put a space between 32 and /u and leave the two ")
If this command is correctly executed, you will get the following message :
"DllUnregisterServer in C:\Program Files\Norton Antivirus\OfficeAV.dll succeeded."
